Credit given to Lassina Nebié, producer of solar installations. cookers and household solar
Credit given to Lassina Nebié, producer of solar cookers and household solar installations to provide electricity in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), 2009-2010.
In the beginning of June 2009 we granted a credit of 3156€ to Lassina Nebié, producer of solar ovens and of solar installations for providing electricity for households, to produce and sell with profit 15 of these installations (a microcredit of 10 months). These equipments consist of a 20W solarpanel, 2 solar bulbs of 5W, a telephone battery charger and a 24A battery. By using one light the battery will have a duration of 12 hours; by using the two lights at a time only 5 hours. The time needed to charge a mobile phone will be 4,5 hours.

At the end of December 2010 already 15 items were sold. Lassina has his workshop in the outskirts of Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, in a very densely populated district without any services: there is neither electricity nor water. Because of this fantastic localization and the great utility of Lassina's product and his efficiency Sol Solidari will need to go there from time to time to renew the credit. In this sense and also regarding the fact that the equipments Lassina sells are quite expensive, we are studying the possibility to promote through him some household's solar installations made in China which will be much cheaper.
