We, from Sol Solidari believe in shortcuts. We think that countries in the south can develop without following our route which is based on the dependency of oil and which generates unwanted secondary effects: pollution, the reduction of biodiversity, the overexploitation of the natural resources or the creation of poverty.
This is the reason why we introduce clean, renewable and economical efficient technologies to improve the quality of life of millions of people that live in poverty. Solar cookers, solar ovens, economic cookers, rocket stoves, hay baskets and solar installations to generate light are tools that help to avoid deforestation, to decrease the incidence of respiratory and ocular diseases, to save money and to promote children's education. Ultimately: a shortcut towards a fair and sustainable world.
